  • 'The old Wind Mill over looking the River', A man in a punt in the foreground. This landscape was painted by Richard Hilder in Circa 1835. Richard Hilder was a landscape artist who painted in the style of the NORWICH SCHOOL. Four of his drawings are in the British Museum. He exhibited at the Royal Academy, the British Institute and was a member of the Royal society of of British Artists in Suffolk street. Most collections of 19th Century landscapes would include a Hilder.
