  • Attributed to Hermanus Koekkoek(Dutch) 1815 to 1882. Koekkoek, especially world renown for his seascapes, was regarded as among the most important Dutch artists of his time. Worked predominantly in Amsterdam from 1832. He exhibited at the Royal Academy from 1876. His work can be seen in many museums: Glasgow City Art Gallery, The National Gallery of Victoria, Melbourne, The Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, Enkhuizen, Groningen, Leeuwarden and the Mauritshuis at the Hague.
